How To Fit Bathroom Taps
Bathroom taps are quite tricky to fit if you don’t know the basics of how to do it. But once you have found the ins and outs, it becomes second nature and something you can put under your DIY belt.
To fit a tap you must need tools, these basic tools needed are:
- Tap Connectors
- Wrench
- Pipe Cutters
- Spanner
Other tools are needed if necessary yet don’t apply to all taps, therefore they are not essential. For safety reasons you also need gloves and goggles so that no harm is done while the taps are being fitted.
Firstly you need to make sure that the water supply is switched off and that all taps are on full power so that any water remaining in the pipes is drained. Once you have done that check to see if your tap has plastic connectors, usually most taps do as this makes it easier for you when you attach your new taps. Once there fitted into the holes in your basin or bath they also connect to the water pipes aswell leaving you with a quality bathroom in both looks and performance.
Since there is a large variety of taps in our store, it’s mostly depending on if your bath or basin has 2 holes or 1. If there’s only 1 available then you can get a Mixer or a Lever tap. For 2 holes you can purchase a joint tap holding 1 spout or 2 seperate taps with seperate spouts, which ever tap design you would like for your bathroom Chrome-tapshower.co.uk has them all.
